Ben's Lens: December 2007

This photograph probably shows the business of Henry T. Amlung, a furrier listed in Philadelphia’s 1935 city directory. Located at 4810 Baltimore Avenue, the business would have been easily accessible to Center City Philadelphia via the trolley. The business’s display windows look out onto a block of row houses designed at the turn of the century by Philadelphia architect Robert Pitts.
