This Ben’s Lens shows Overbrook Country Club, located at City Line and Lancaster Avenues, on land formerly belonging to the Morris family. Established in the 1890s, the club was described as having a comfortable clubhouse with facilities for golf, bowling, squash, and tennis. In 1952 the Overbrook Country Club relocated to Bryn Mawr and Lankenau Hospital built a facility on the site. This photograph was taken in the summer of 1927 by William Jennings.
