After spending quite a bit of time researching this image, we decided that it showed the southwest corner of Broad Street and South Penn Square with the Girard Trust Corn Exchange Bank under construction. Broad Street Station is visible in the background, as is a small part of City Hill. The following Ben’s Lens readers reached the same conclusion:
